on this visit he to sick and died. His body was taken back to New York
for burial by his son John II. Death record found in bk 1 #654 pg.51
Adair Co.Ia. Physician-E.W.Regan Bridgewater Ia. Buried in New York 25
Sept 1893.

1. The bible records of Grace Vorrath-Beaman stated the name of her
grandmother Vorrath's maiden name ANNA MARIE MULLER (Hard to read).Born
in Hanover, Germany. Record in the home of Mary Jane Beaman daughter in
law to Grace Vorrath Beaman. Richard Heuckendorf recieved this
information 4 June 1993. It is thought now at a later date that the name
MULLER is the maiden name of the MOTHER of ANNA MARIE (MARY)
MOLLAN-VORRATH.

Louis and I were happy to hear from you and to know you are
interested in the Vorrath family.
Enclosed are some pictures that we had of our trip to Iowa. You may
have them as I have some other ones taken at the same time.
We finally thought of Louis's grandmothers name---it was ANNA MARIE
MOLLAN. She had a brother HERMAN MOLLAN.
JOHN VORRATH had a brother named CLAUS VORRATH and his wife's name
was SOPHIE. They lived in Germany.
Grandma Vorrath had an apartment in Astoria, Long Island N.Y.
LOUIS would go there in the summer for a visit.
LOUIS'mother (ANNA VORRATH) was born in New York City on Park Ave.
